DonKangolJones’ Images of the Week: May 23rd (she likes it rough… and bloody)

I took a week off to finish some other blog posts, marathon some Mass Effect 2 since the PSN is mostly up, and watch the Heat give the Bulls a beating (feels weird to root against the Bulls).  But I’m back with two weeks worth of anime, manga and pervy images.  Hope you enjoyed the image of the week up top.  I certainly am not gonna forget it for awhile.  Let’s get to it.

Anime Images of the Week

My oh my, there certainly have been plenty of good anime episodes running through my queue these last two weeks.  My favorite?  It would probably be a tie between episode 17 of Gosick and the last three episodes of Shiki that I’ve watched, episodes 16, 17 and 18.  Gosick really knocked it out of the park with that episode.  It did many things I liked like destroy that ugly building, Beelzebub’s Skull or whatever it’s called.  It gave me a daring rescue when Kujo saved a depressed Victorique from the oncoming flood waters.  And I got to hear the instrumental to one of my favorite anime themes of the year, Resucitated Hope.  I hate to admit though, but I’ll be happy to see Kujo and Victorique finally return to the Academy.  I think I’m starting to miss Grevil.

What the f*ck is he wearing?

Shiki has just been a non-stop parade of great episodes for awhile now.  The stakes have never been higher and it seems like what looked like the darkest moment of the series (besides episode 14 of course) quickly was turned around into a small glimmer of hope.  I love this show right now and I couldn’t be more excited about a show or how it may potentially finish.

After that the next tier of anime involves the very random and inconsistent Nichijou, the strange and surprisingly dark (and inconsistently animated) C, and the ever dark, and over-the-top (in more ways than one) Deadman Wonderland.

Nichijou had what I think is its best episode, yet.  Granted that because of my busy schedule I’m two weeks behind, but I definitely see what all the hype was about.  It’s making it very hard for me to pick a direction to go with this show.  At this rate, I really will finish the show whether I intend to or not.

C seemed to take some inspiration from Eva with their new Asset.  Even more interesting is how this show seems to enjoy torturing and mutilating Yoga’s Asset, Mashu.  Holy sh*t that was a gruesome fight.  Too bad we didn’t get to see the end of it.  Douchebags!  Deadman Wonderland ep6 certainly wasn’t the best episode of the week, but it definitely made an impression.  Nothing like seeing an innocent little girl turn into a psychotic, homicidal skank right before your eyes.  The episode was more hilarious than anything, but Ganta got one of the better moments of the week when he won that fight in a non-lethal fashion and then told all the judges and spectators to go f*ck themselves.  GOLD!

For some reason I didn’t get around to posting anything for Dog Days even though I finished and episode.  Even worse is the realization that I haven’t watched Tiger & Bunny in two weeks.  What the hell is wrong with me?!  Watching anime has become a juggling act with my schedule.  It seems that I can only balance a finite number of anime before something slips through the cracks.  Still, it’s unacceptable for me to missing any Tiger & Bunny!  Same goes for the rest of you out there who have access to the series and aren’t watching it.

Manga Images of the Week

I actually got to some manga this week.  The Big 3 to be specific.  None of it is anything to really write home about though.  Bleach continues.  One Piece continues.  Naruto continues.  Though Naruto did piss me off by going into a flashback when I was expecting some action.  And Bleach was enjoyable for the simple fact that I got to see two of the females have a moment.  Though honestly I tire significantly of Orihime every time she talks.  Hopefully I’ll be able to knock out some Hayate X Blade, Good Ending and Claymore to help shake things up a bit next week.

Pervy Images of the Week

WARNING!  The pervy images this week are relatively HARDCORE.  Oh wait.  The image is above this warning.  Oh hell…

Oh well, I can still say you’ve been warned.  And this is all thanks to one manga.  My Lovely Ghost Kana.  Damn!  It was just one whole chapter of sex!  Sure Yuria 100 Shiki had some groping, but it was nothing compared to what Kana did.  Pure gushy~gushy!  I added some undead and psycho murderer boobies to help even things out.  I do enjoy Megumi’s sex appeal as well as her ability to adapt to vampire life.  She really knows how to work the vampire sexy.

I remember watching Shiki a long time ago, but getting bored… it just wasn’t captivating enough.

Oh and the Deadman Wonderland art is getting worse.. or is the distorted face of the girl a artistic styling choice? I will never know…

I gotta ask, how far into Shiki did you get? Because I will admit it was a bit bland in the beginning, but by the halfway point things really got interesting. And as for Deadman Wonderland, I think they were going for the over-the-too psycho look. And like most anime they just really over did it. Believe it or not I’ve seen much worse. Ever watch Higurashi? That animation gets down right sloppy and distorted in that one.

Sorry, that episode was so fantastically ridiculous that I forgot about that moment. But best believe when I saw I paused the video so I could finish laughing without missing anything. Holy crap!

      Thanks for stopping by.
