Good week for anime, good week for manga, and a good week for games.  But since the blog isn’t about games, and I’m sure you don’t wanna here by my  third or fourth playthroughs of Mass Effect 2; I’m gonna stick to the anime and manga stuff if that’s okay with you guys?  Let’s get to it!

I took a week off to finish some other blog posts, marathon some Mass Effect 2 since the PSN is mostly up, and watch the Heat give the Bulls a beating (feels weird to root against the Bulls).  But I’m back with two weeks worth of anime, manga and pervy images.  Hope you enjoyed the image of the week up top.  I certainly am not gonna forget it for awhile.  Let’s get to it.

DonKangolJones’ Images of the Week: May 8th (totally late, but still pervy)

I can’t believe we’re well into May.  This has not been a quiet year, nor a quiet week.  But I’m not gonna get into politics or who killed who.  I just want a peaceful life where I can watch some good anime, drink well and enjoy my time with friends and family.

DonKangolJones’ Images of the Week: May 1st (it has been a rough week)

Well it hasn’t been a rough week for me personally, more like for the anime characters I’ve seen this week.  Given the fact that I watched some good old  80’s and 90’s mecha, I got some decent gore.  And then when I thought my week was gonna be all nice and smooth with only a minimal amount of blood and violence I run into the buzz saw that is Shiki episode 14.  The good news is

#Gosick ep15: so… black people can’t be seen at night? Yeah that makes total sense.

You should’ve seen the look on my face when I found out Leviathan was ni– a black man. *whew!* I’m not even gonna comment on the “ghost who could not be seen” legend.  How many of these stories have I seen where the black guy gets screwed over? So the Saubure monarchy was a scheming, racist elitist group? No real surprise given the attitudes of European colonialism back in those times. Oh well, he lived reasonably well while he could I suppose, though personally I wish he had taken that gold somehow and hauled ass back to his home country instead of trying to do something noble and ultimately futile like trying to influence the king. I say he more distracted the dude than influenced him.

DonKangolJones’ Images of the Week: April 24th (I <3 Succubi)

Happy Easter!  And so ends and begins another week of anime.  I put in work last week.  And while I didn’t get around to much in the way of manga, I have good news….  The Pervy Images of the Week are back!  I know, I know.  High fives all around.  This blog is still a No Fap Zone so don’t get too excited.  Now let’s begin.  I’m on an old school gaming binge as of late and I got some more Mega Man to play.

Gosick ep13: Victorique can now be a character in Blaz Blue

Sure, Victorique’s new rolling kick isn’t that impressive, it’s probably useless.  But she could always be one of those special support characters that don’t actually do much besides add a special item or do one move.  That special item could be confectioneries for health, and the move would obviously be that rolling kick.  She’s still practically useless, but think of the cuteness factor!  

DonKangolJones’ Images of the Week: April 12th (the Abbrev. Ed.)

What? Don’t look at me like that.  I’ve been busy.  Regardless, it’s been a fun if not very productive week.  I got to finish two series that have been running for 2 seasons and I got some surprising results from that.   I’m slowly dipping my toes into the new season, though I’m careful not to overlook the massive backlog I now have following me.   I’m looking forward and backward this week and for this post.

DonKangolJones’ Images of the Week: March 27th (My blog’s not dead, it’s napping!)

I’ve fielded quite a few questions on and off Twitter as to whether the status of my blog would be best conveyed through an obituary.  Rest assured good readers that it is no more than a strange combination of bad timing, fatigue and work.  And to prove it I’m coming back strong with more anime, manga & perviness than ever.  But before I start I’d like to give my heartfelt condolences out to the people and Japan who are still enduring after the horrible disasters of earthquake, tsunami and a possible nuclear meltdown.  I suggest anyone reading this find your nearest, reputable charity and put some effort into helping those people.  I used Red Cross, you can use whatever you like.  Every bit helps.

It feels a little awkward mentioning such a serious subject on my goofy little blog, but even a curmudgeon like me doesn’t mind helping this cause.

Check-in Station: Gosick eps 1-5 (My loli would like the poop with her dessert.)

You’ll have to forgive me if I didn’t have very high hopes for this Gosick (I seem to have said that about a lot of series in the past six months). The initial artwork gave me the feeling that the production staff was trying to appeal to the case closed crowd who wanted something cuter, with a distinct change of setting. And while I may not actually be wrong in the end, I can at least say that this series has been somewhat entertaining at least. And it has done a hell of a job not angering me or disappointing me even up to this early stage.
