#OreImo ep12: this is the height of unreasonableness. This series can die in a fire. #anime

This series has been nothing but a series of tests for Kyousuke in reference to
his love for his sister. And it’s gone beyond anything I can stand. At one
point I actually thought she would tone down and get off her brother’s back for
a bit. So I actually thought his “last” counseling for her was worth the
effort. He even ran into another poor fool like him. By the way, it’s
incredibly sad that not only do some people think Kyousuke has an incestuous
attraction to his sister, now we got some people thinking he likes “homos”.

Anyway, he goes through all that effort and he gets another test when he finds
out that she’s leaving the country. She doesn’t tell him, the parents don’t
warn him. No one says shit, and apparently weren’t going to say shit until she
was leaving or she was clear out the door. That’s fucked up. Period. He even
gets his ass kicked for not having the appropriate response after he’s the one
that should be hurt. Not only is Kirino infuriating for her selfishness and
unreasonableness, but Kyousuke is just a terrible idiot for putting up with this
for so long. It just doesn’t sit well. I know it won’t kill him, but that
doesn’t mean he should be verbally and physically beaten down like that
throughout the series.

It’s like he’s Charlie Brown, but the teasing is far more bitter and
unreasonable. Charlie Brown fails consistently. He ruins baseball games with
his lack of talent and his poor judgement. He drags his friends along on
ridiculous endeavors looking for vague people and things. He’s just awkward and
never says the right things, and is wishy~washy. Kyousuke always got the job
done, never asked for anything in return, and always thought of everyone’s best
interests ahead of his own. I’m not saying Charlie Brown deserved it, but
Kyousuke at the very least is cursed or retarded for making these efforts and
only receiving vicious consequences.

It’s a cycle I don’t care to see repeated in any form, whether it be extras,
alternate endings, a second season or a movie. This series dies here for me.
If I could drop a series on the last episode I would, but at this point Ore Imo
barely crosses my finish line. Pray Kuroneko does something awesome in the
series when it returns in whatever form it’s in; that’s the only way I’ll be
coming back to this series.

Getting to Episode 12 while enduring all of Kirino’s bullshit and Kyousuke’s stupidity is a feat in itself for you. I didn’t even make it halfway.

I commend you for making it that far. I’m not asking for anything super realistic, it’s just that the writing is so extreme and unfair that I just couldn’t take it.
